Where every figure comes from

Everything on this site is built from published open data. Measure figures come from the UK public sector. Photographs on a report come from Geograph and Wikimedia Commons. Nothing is estimated by us, nothing is bought in, and every source is credited as its licence requires.

Corrections

If a figure looks wrong, it is usually one of three things: the publisher’s data is out of date, the figure describes a wider area than the postcode you searched, or we have made a mistake. The methodology page explains how to tell which, and every report labels figures that came from a wider area. If you have checked that and still think we have it wrong, email us.
